Sunderland Pink Lustre Transfer-decorated King William of Orange Jug and Plaque, England, 19th century, the jug decorated on one side with King William on his horse, the reverse depicting two men upholding the crown over a verse "May Orange Men True/Their Rights Pursue... ," the rectangular plaque depicting King William of Orange upon his horse over the inscription "No Surrender," pitcher ht. 5 5/8, plaque 7 3/4 x 8 1/2 in. Pitcher- minute nick on pitcher rim minor glaze wear to rim, minor hair crack to bottom of base, plaque- very good condition.
