Two Sunderland Pink Lustre Transfer Decorated Pottery Jugs, England, early 19th century, the jugs with polychrome painted transfer designs, the larger jug showing the Wear Bridge on one side and a sailor and his lady titled "The Token , or Jack's Safe Return to His True Love," on the reverse and a scene with a farmer and his wife flanking a shield over a banner inscribed "God Speed The Plow," the smaller jug with the same designs on the sides, and a pink lustre cottage under the spout, (larger jug cracked), ht. 9 3/8, 7 1/4 in.
