Condition: Toning, staining losses to gilded areas, minor pigment displacements, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Skinner, Inc., American & European Paintings & Prints, March 9, 2001, Lot 205. N.B. This drawing is a reversed version of Betrothal of the Virgin from Dürer's Life of the Virgin published in 1511.
