Marcantonio Raimondi (Italian, 1480-1534) after Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528) The Adoration of the Magi (Meder/Hollstein, 199). The latter's monogram in the plate. Engraving on paper, image/sheet size 11 3/4 x 8 3/8 in. (29.7 x 21.2 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Trimmed to or within the platemark, toning, staining. The work is either hinged or tapes every few inches along the edges of the sheet so the verso is not visible. The staining and toning are unobtrusive.
