The front of the jersey features “North Carolina” in arched white-on-blue tackle twill lettering surrounding Carter's number "15,” with the back of the jersey repeating Carter’s number "15.” The jersey features a blue and white argyle pattern running vertically down each side of the jersey and a front lower left size tag that reads "54/ Engineered to the/ exact specifications of/ championship athletes/ Length +4/ made in the USA." Playing from 1995-98, Carter helped North Carolina to consecutive ACC Men's Basketball Tournament titles in 1997 and 1998 and Final Four appearances in 1995, 1997 and 1998. Upon entering the NBA, Carter was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1999. The jersey is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dave and Adam's Card World, stating that the jersey originated from the Fleer Game-Used Collection and that the jersey was originally obtained from the Fleer Bankruptcy Auction on September 9, 2005.
