A Wilson brand jacket issued to and worn by former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver William "Willie" Joe Carter for the 1940 NFL All-Star game. The black wool blend jacket features a front button closure with two front pockets. Stitched into the upper left of the jacket is an embroidered NFL logo patch. Stitched into the interior collar of the jacket is a Wilson manufacturer's tag and a size flap tag listing the size of the jacket as "46." The 1940 NFL All-Star game was played on January 14, 1940, at Gilmore Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The Packers would go on to win the game 16-7. PROVENANCE From the Collection of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop EST. $600- 800 Categories: William Joe Carter
