Group of Civil War and GAR related articles of John Sine , born in 1832 in Canada and died in 1911 in Waterloo, Iowa, served as a corporal in Company F, 31st Wisconsin Regiment Volunteer Infantry from August 1862-June 1865. Includes enlistment paper, a leather bound diary, eleven loose leaf pages of manuscript entries regarding Sine's experiences with General Sherman's Army, Sine's leather cap pouch, a sewing kit, a snuff box, miscellaneous booklets, twenty-eight miscellaneous silk ribbons and badges, most relating to the GAR.
