Talbott, who served in the Union Army as a private, dated June 1865; a certificate of membership in the "Andersonville Survivors' Association" to George L. Talbott who was confined in a "rebel" military prison in Andersonville Georgia, dated 1879; and approximately eight Civil War letters from various correspondants, including Talbott. Some letters separated at the folds.
