Underhammer Fowler Attributed to a Concord, Massachusetts, Maker, c. 1820s-30s, walnut stock, early Massachusetts militia musket-style buttplate, iron back strap and trigger guard which also serves as the mainspring, with two iron and one brass ramrod pipes, and unmarked barrel, barrel lg. 40 3/4, overall lg. 57 1/2 in. Provenance: The collection of Nick Chandler. Estimate $700-900 Stock has a few dings and nicks, barrel and iron parts are a plum/brown color, front ramrod pipe is loose, and the lock functions properly.
