Eight Turned and Painted Bowls, America, 19th century, the bowls of various size with exteriors painted blue, red, yellow, white, or orange, dia. to 17 in. Estimate $800-1,200 There are no major cracks or repairs, but there are some age-related cracks in at least of couple of them. Some of the paint is more recent than original, but none of it appears very recent at all. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
