Group of 1st Massachusetts Cavalry Veteran's Medals, c. late 19th century, a brass hat badge a chest pin with a Massachusetts button; a medal with a top bar marked "1st MASS. CAV.," suspending a horse head over crossed sabers and a horseshoe; and a medal with a ribbon bar engraved "1st MS. CAV.," with an orange ribbon and a silver arm and sword. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $200-250 All in very good condition.
