FACIAM," and five bars with the dates "1861/1862/1863/1864/1865,"suspending a medal with a "29" under the arm and sword from the seal of Massachusetts; one with a blue ribbon, a bar marked "AVT. VIAM/INVENIAM./AVT. FACIAM," and two bars with the dates "1861/1862," with a suspended medal with a "29" under the arm and sword from the seal of Massachusetts, ht. 5 in. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $400-600 One medal has a tear on the ribbon on either side of the suspension loop, but in overall good condition.
