Attributed to William Collins (British, 1788-1847) The Shrimp Boy Unsigned, attributed and titled on a hang tag from Ruth Troiani, Avon, Connecticut, on the handing wire. Watercolor on paper, sight size 9 7/8 x 8 in. (25.0 x 19.6 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, not examined out of frame. Provenance: From the estate of Ruth Troiani, Connecticut. Ruth and her husband Dominick married in New Orleans in 1942. They began collecting antiques shortly thereafter, and started dealing in antiques in the 1960s.
