Large Wax Doll with Long Arms, probably England, mid-19th century, wax over composition shoulder head doll, black glass pupil-less stationary eyes, closed mouth with hint of smile, rosy cheek coloring (skin tones yellowed, light cheek rub, nose rub), original medium brown soft human hair wig curled to below shoulders, cloth body, waxed composition lower limbs, long arms and fingers, original white cotton undergarments, pink and ivory striped silk dressed with short puffed sleeves (silk frail), red leather lace-up shoes, ht. 26 1/2 in.
