Two Handpainted Figural Enameled Copper Table Snuff Boxes, England or France, late 18th/early 19th century, both rectangular form boxes, one with chinoiserie decoration depicting a boy and a servant with an incense burner before a creature on a scrolled platform, with floral sprig decoration on a white ground, the interior lid painted with figures by a spire-top building; the second depicting a romantic couple seated on a knoll, with buildings in the foreground and distance, with floral sprigs and fruit on the sides and base against a white ground, (wear, cracks, the second with repainted areas), 1 5/8 x 3 1/4 x 2 5/8; 1 3/8 x 2 7/8 x 2 3/8 in.
