Three Handpainted Landscape Enameled Copper Snuff or Patch Boxes, England or France, 18th/19th century, a rectangular table snuff with bucolic scene depicting a milkmaid with a cow and sheep on a hillside with shepherd and cottage in the distance, floral sprigs decorate the sides on a white ground; a round box with a cow, farmer, and floral sprig design on a white ground; and an oval box with a cottage by a river, the lower box with pink exterior, mirrored lid, (wear, the last two with paint touch-ups), ht. 1 1/4, 1 1/8, dia. 2 5/8, 1 3/4, 2 in.
