Thomas Mackay (British, 1851-1909) Lot of Two Scenes: The Village Smithy and Road into Town Smithy signed and dated "T. Mackay 1899" l.l., titled l.r., Road unsigned. Watercolor on paper, approximate sight sizes to 12 3/4 x 8 1/2 in. (32.4 x 21.6 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, mild fading, staining and/or foxing, not examined out of frames. Road has been removed from its frame, however the piece is glued between the front mat and a backing sheet of paper. The toning and fading are mild. The foxing is primarily to Smithy.
