English Carolean style hall chair with a rectangular newly caned back surmounted by a crest of a central crown flanked to each side by cherubs, the caned panel within a pierced foliate and heraldic frame flanked to each side by a barley-twist uprights, the newly caned seat raised on barley twist and block legs joined by a front stretcher of cherubs supporting a missing (broken) heraldic emblem and a barley-twist H-form stretcher. Height 46", width 19", seat depth 18", seat height 18".
