Attributed to Thomas Creswick (English, 1811-1869), "Village Mill", oil on canvas. Painting depicts a wide river flowing toward the viewer flanked by a large millhouse on the right with a running mill wheel, with three passengers in a row boat approaching the river bank near the mill, a wooden foot bridge on stone pillars to the left of the plane, and tall leafy green trees atop the scene under cloudy skies. Framed 36.25" x 41.25", unframed 25" x 30.25".
