VICTORIAN STERLING TEA & COFFEE SET, SHEFFIELD & BIRMINGHAM, 1855-60, SIX PIECES:The matching sterling silver set includes 1 teapot, H. 5", 1 coffee pot, H.9", 1 individual teapot, H.4", 1 creamer, H.5", and 1 sugar bowl (Sheffield, 1855-56), together with 1 hot milk pitcher, H.6 1/2" (Birmingham, 1860-61); each piece engraved with a three-letter monogram at one side and crest on the reverse. The set of five pieces with hallmarks of a crown, lion passant, queen's profile, date letter M, and maker's mark "T. B & S" (unidentified), and the additional piece has the anchor town mark and date letter L. Seven pieces totaling approximately 90.9 troy oz.
