VICTORIAN STERLING TEA SET BY MARTIN HALL & CO. , SHEFFIELD, 1855-56, THREE PIECES:Sterling silver set includes 1 teapot with bird finial, H.9", 1 creamer, and 1 sugar bowl; each piece has paneled sides, repousse floral and scroll motifs overall, and engraved three-letter script monogram, possibly HWC or HMC. Hallmarks includes a lion passant, crown, queen's profile, and date letter M, as well as maker's mark MH & Co. for Martin Hall & Co. (see additional photo). Vermeil interior for sugar. Three pieces totaling approximately 50.2 troy oz.
