VICTORIAN STERLING & SPODE PORCELAIN TRAVELING TEA SET IN A LEATHER CASE, 1886-87, H 10", W 13":The brown tooled leather case having a hinged lid and pair of doors opening to a purple silk and velvet-lined interior fitted with a 3-piece sterling silver tea set, 2 sterling spoons, 2 porcelain cups with 2 porcelain saucers by Spode in the "Blue Willow" pattern. Hallmarks for all sterling pieces include a lion passant, uncrowned leopard, queen's profile, date letters L or M indicating London, 1886-1887, and maker's mark "CB" enclosed (unidentified, see photo). The case measures H.9 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 9 1/4" overall.
