Octavo, [8], 264 pages, in contemporary calfskin, joints cracked, old label on spine, contemporary engraved bookplate inside front board, name removed at the foot, signature of Joseph Molloy on title and elsewhere; printed on faintly bluish paper, edges lightly browned throughout, 8 1/8 x 4 1/2 in. This work reprints the following documents: the Declaration of Independence; the Articles of Confederation; the Constitutions of the thirteen original colonies; and the treaties of amity, commerce, and alliance made between the colonies and France.
