Lumpkin, Claremarket , Roman numerals, quarters, half and half-quarter markings, matted center with ringed winding holes and recessed date with engraved flourish, seconds bit, cast brass spandrels and pierced blued steel hands, the waist door with panels of floral, foliage, vases, and bird marquetry, pendulum aperture and ebonized moldings, the base with stylized bird and cornucopia all on a molded plinth, case sides with banded inlay and central figured panels, eight-day, time and hour striking, five-pillar movement with great wheel mounted count-wheel and recoil escapement, two iron weights and brass-faced pendulum bob and iron rod, ht. 78 3/4 in.
