Needlework Family Record, "Wrought by Adeline Patch Sept. 1823 Aged 11 yrs.," Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the record worked in silk threads on a linen ground, featuring rows of alphabets above a pious verse and the vital statistics of John Patch (b. July 23 1780) and Abigail Trowbridge (b. May 29 1791) and their six children, surrounded on three sides with a flowering vine, (toning, fading), 17 x 21 in., in a later molded wood frame. Note: A genealogical search indicates Adeline Patch was born in Littleton, Massachusetts, in Middlesex County.
