A trophy owned by Pelé and dated to April 8, 1972. The metal trophy features a Bandeirante [translation: one who carries the flag], one of a group of 17th-century Portuguese settlers and fortune hunters in Brazil, most of them from the São Paulo region. The trophy stands on a marble base that includes a metal plaque that reads "Ao Craque Da Rodada" [To the Player of the Round] and is dated "8-4-72."
