Nickel Chrome “Hatot Early Self-Winding” Rolls, ATO, (Léon Hatot), No. 109843. Made in the 1930’s. Fine, rare and interesting, self-winding, rectangular, nickel chrome lady's wristwatch. Two-body, solid, polished, hinged, lapidated sides, wire lugs. Matte silver with Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel “Baton” hands. Notes The Hatot self-winding system, called "Rolls", made it possible to adapt a selfwinding mechanism to both rectangular watches and small-sized lady's watches, such as the present lot.
