Carillon Quarter-Repeater Chronograph Swiss, "Repetition a Quarts Chronographe Carillon", No. 32883. Made circa 1890. Fine and very rare, 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless, carillon quarter-repeating with three hammers on three gongs, pocket watch with chronograph. Four-body, "bassine", polished, the front cover decorated with a cast, chased and engraved scene of a farmer sowing seeds, the back cover engraved with a foliate monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details and exhibition medals. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and outermost fifths of seconds divisions with Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands.
