Gold-plated, "gorge", polished, the side doors set with Limoges painted on enamel panels of ladies by master enameler G. Courbet and P. Bonnet, Limoges, interior glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle, musical movement in the base. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic fi ve-minute numerals, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar on the edge, alarm setting dial, date and days of the week dials below, engine-turned gold-plated dial mask with applied plaque engraved “1839- 1989”.
