Made in a limited edition of 150 pieces in 1989 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Maison L’Epée. Very fine and rare, gold-plated and Limoges painted on enamel, two-tune musical, 8-day going, hour and half-hour striking and repeating carriage clock with alarm, one-minute tourbillon regulator, duo-date calendar, moon phases and lunar calendar. Accompanied by a fitted box and key, commemorative plaque and blank warranty certificate. Gold-plated, "gorge", polished, the side doors set with Limoges painted on enamel panels of ladies by master enameler G. Courbet and P. Bonnet, Limoges, interior glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle, musical movement in the base. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic fi ve-minute numerals, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar on the edge, alarm setting dial, date and days of the week dials below, engine-turned gold-plated dial mask with applied plaque engraved “1839- 1989”. Blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular, gilt brass, four pillars, going barrels for the going and striking trains, 11 jewels, straight-line lever escapement mounted on a polished gilt one-minute tourbillon carriage, foliate engraved platform, monometallic balance, fl at balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator, foliate engraved gilt bridge.
