Very fine, marquetry inlaid wood table musical box with matching table, playing 36 tunes on a 72 note comb with 12 interchangeable cylinders each playing three tunes. The box with serpentine sides inlaid with geometric marquetry and fl ower panels, bombe hinged lid inlaid with a fl ower branch, the interior with the tune list, two drawers in the front for storage of the cylinders, table en suite with single deep drawer at the front. Hinged glazed cover over the movement. Matte brass base plate, large spring barrel wound by a ratchet lever, the interchangeable cylinders playing on a 72 tooth tuned steel comb, fl y governor, repeat/change and play/stop selection levers at the side. Signed on the case and movement. Dim. 73 x 54 x 108 cm.
