MATHEY-TISSOT PURSE WATCH SILVER Mathey-Tissot, Swiss, No. 12396. Made circa 1920. Fine and rare, sterling silver purse watch with concealed shuttered dial. To be sold without reserve Rectangular with two panels that fl ip open by pressing the spring-loaded sides of the case to display the movement and the dial, engraved with an Art Deco design. Matte silver with Arabic numerals, outer minute division. Blued steel luminous baton hands. Rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 44 x 34 mm.
