Courvoisier Frères, La Chaux-de-Fonds, "Modernista", Swiss, circa 1910. Interesting 18K yellow gold digital jumping hour watch with retrograde minute hand. Four-body, "demi-bassine", back cover engine-turned in barleycorn pattern, gold hinged cuvette, etched in Art Nouveau pattern. Gilded, center decorated in zigzag pattern, top with retrograde minute scale, aperture for the hours. Notes The design was registered by Swiss patent No. 27838.
