Joseph Finney Skeletonized Movement Watch, Liverpool, last half 18th century, no. 1315, the silver case opens to the porcelain Roman numeral dial with seconds at the 11 o'clock position and sunburst hands, swing-out, gilt, skeletonized, chain fusee movement signed on the mainspring bridge Jos. Finney/Liverpool and 1315 on a banner below, pierced balance bridge with diamond endstone, open mainspring barrel and unusual "Ormskirk" escapement, dia. 45 mm. Recased, movement cleaned and in good condition.
