Pair of Figural Three-light Cloisonne Candelabra, China, late 19th century, gilt and polychrome enamel decorated, each formed as three entwined dragons balancing an orb in one claw and with sconce stemming from each mouth, ht. 20 1/2 in. Literature: Newman, Bruce M., Fantasy Furniture , (New York: Rizzoli International Publications, Inc., 1989), p. 47. Lacking rock crystal balls, one blue dragon missing right whisker, one red dragon missing a fang, scattered minor loss to gilt and enamel.
