Pair of Pavilion Inspired Cloisonne Covered Censers, China, 19th century, constructed in three-tier hexagon structure, lavishly decorated mainly with dragon and lotus motifs, the body with six pillars decorated with a metalwork dragon swirling up, the central six-side pillar for incense decorated with openwork dragons, clouds and panels of lotus scrolls to the top and wave design to the bottom, the roof is a dome-shape hexagon built in two-tier structure with an ovoid-shape openwork metal finial with dragon and clouds, ht. 45 1/4 in.
