Two Holdcroft Majolica Items, England, 19th century, a water pitcher with cell ground and relief of birds in flight over reeds and tall grass, ht. 7 7/8 in.; and a bear jug, the standing figure modeled supporting a drum behind his back, ht. 8 3/8 in.; impressed marks. Jug: surface glaze chip to lower portion of the inside only. Bear: 3/8" chip to the rim of the drum.
