Louis XVI Style Brass-mounted Plum Pudding Mahogany Tambour Roll-top Desk, early 20th century, with hinged slant lid and roll-top enclosing three drawers and a green leather writing surface, frieze drawer and circular, fluted and tapered legs, with metal string inlay and ribbed mounts, ht. 34, wd. 27, dp. 16 1/2 in. Four pieces of metal molding off but present (two pieces of metal inlay with heavy crimping; leather interior slightly distressed; finish dry and thin; else with age typical minor defects.
