Bernard" for Pierre Bernard (maître 1766) with a cartouche-shaped backrest and bowed seat rail each carved with a ropetwist border, raised on turned, tapering, fluted legs headed by paterae and terminating in toupie feet, ht. 38 7/8; three others produced later in the same style, ht. 38 1/2 in.
