“Pearl Sunburst ” Balsiger & Fils a Genève. Made circa 1830. Very fine and rare, 18K gold and pearl-set pendant watch. Two-body, hinged sprung bezel set with pearls and seed pearls, the back set with graduated pearls. Gold with applied radial Roman numerals, outer minute markers, vari-colored gold foliate border, engine-turned center. Blued steel lozenge hands. 32 mm., frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass three-arm balance, pierced and chased continental balance cock, silver regulator dial.
