Arthur à Paris, No. 497, bearing the Paris Hallmarks for 1760. Fine 20 ct. gold and enamel watch. Double body, Louis XV, the bezel chased in a geometrical pattern and with painted champleve enamelled flowers(restored), the back with a fine and amusing painted enamelled scene, depicting an elderly gentleman receiving a treatment for a bunion, outer chased rocaille and geometrical decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring (restored). Gold Louis XV hands. GiIt brass, full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three armed balance, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end piece. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
