Roskopf Patent, circa 1900. Rare and fine 18 ct. gold keyless watch. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", entirely engraved with a floral and foliage decoration. Gold cuvette engraved with a decoration matching that of the case. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer red Arabic minute ring. Gilt brass "Louis XV" hands. Notes Very fine example of a Roskopf watch, almost never made in gold case. Being jewelled, the movement of this watch is of far better quality than most of Roskopf movements.
