Redier a Paris, No. 254, circa 1873. Very rare and fine gilt brass and enamel world time eight day going timepiece designed as a terrestrial globe. Resigned as an enamelled terrestrial globe, gimballed on a brass turned baluster stand. Arabic numerals on circular white enamel plaques applied on a gilt brass equatorial ring. Steel and gilt brass sun pointer. Notes An identical globe by Redier, dated 1873 was sold by Antiquorum in Geneva on 22 October 1995, lot No. 427.
