Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Image from "ESCRITO," 1947, edition of 50 (Bloch 466). Inscribed, signed, and dated in the plate, annotated "HC 9/13" along the lower edge. Etching on paper, plate size 13 x 8 in. (33.0 x 20.3 cm), hinged to a backing mat, unframed. Condition: Pressed fold to left margin 1/2 inch outside of the plate mark, soiling, thinned spot along right edge (verso). N.B. The work is accompanied by a small brochure from Vorpal Galleries and by a Mylar or similar mat.
