Extensive James Robinson Sterling "Trifid" Flatware Service, London, c. 1975-82, comprising the following in "Trifid" pattern: thirty fruit spoons; eighteen each: three-prong dinner forks (lg. 7 3/4), three-prong dessert forks (lg. 6 5/8), sauce spoons, teaspoons (lg. 5 3/4), iced tea spoons; seventeen each: three-prong salad forks (lg. 6 1/2), soupspoons (lg. 7 3/8), demitasse spoons; twelve tablespoons (lg. 6 3/4); and the following in the "Early English" pattern with octagonal pistol-grips: thirty butter spreaders with silver blades; twenty-two dinner knives with stainless blades, (lg. 9 3/8); eighteen each: fish knives with silver blades, fish forks with silver tines, luncheon knives with stainless blades (lg. 7 5/8); and ten salad knives with stainless blades (lg. 8 5/8), (317 pieces), approx. 343 troy oz. weighable silver; sold together with thirteen associated silverplate serving pieces. very good. not monogrammed.
