Eight four-piece "Trifid" pattern place settings includes: six forks, 7 1/8"; eight forks, 6 1/2"; eight rat-tail handled spoons, 6 3/4"; six cannon handled knives with steel blades, 9 1/8", 1971-1972. Together with a footed pitcher with reed rim and graceful arched handle, London, 1832, indistinct mark, possibly P & A Bateman, 6" above handle; large gravy spoon, London 1809, mark worn, 12"; Dutch second standard salad tongs, 1871.
