Eugenio Zampighi (Italian, 1859-1944) The Knitting Lesson Signed "E Zampighi" l. r. Oil on canvas, 23 x 18 1/4 in. (58.4 x 46.4 cm), framed. Condition: Patch reinforcement, restretched, canvas adhered to tacking edge, retouch, mild craquelure. The retouch is scattered dashes and strokes. It includes dots to the foreheads of both figures. The corners of the tacking edges are reinforced, as well as the right edge. Patch is approx. 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.
