English Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock, early 19th century, with swan's neck cresting and arched door with scalloped edge opening to a brass and steel face, unsigned, with painted lunar phases in the arch, two subsidiary dials and two-train movement; mid-case fitted with engaged and ebonized quarter-columns and inlaid with ovals, plinth base on bracket feet, ht. 92 in. Overall good; one piece of swan's neck off but present; works complete; case with some flaking shellac and age typical minor defects.
