Pair of Italian Baroque-style Carved and Gilt Gessoed Angel-form Candlesticks, late 19th/early 20th century, each formed as a standing archangel holding a horn-form candle sconce, on pedestal foot and rectangular base with faux marble painted finish, ht. 21 1/2 in. one with wing off, but present; with repaired break through sconce and arm; and shrinkage splits to candle sconce. the other with smaller splits to sconce. both with some lifting, chipping, and losses to the gilt gesso, and some spots of retouch.
