Italian, 20th century. Matched pair of Italian Rococo style cream painted fauteuils, both with a foliate pierced cresting and ears, the pierced carved interlaced splat over serpentine seat padded and covered in cream upholstered decorated with stitched ribbon tied floral bouquets and butterflies, over a conforming skirt pierced with shell carving and raised on cabriole legs carved at the knee and terminating in scrolled toes. Height 43.5", width 21.5"(arm to arm), seat depth 18", seat height 18".
