Condition: Surface dust. Provenance: Purchased from Emmerich Gallery, New York; collection of Melvin B. Nessel, Boston, Massachusetts. N.B. The work is a study for an outdoor sculpture at 180 Beacon Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The patina is in good condition, but there is dust and soiling to some of the interstice.
